My style
As a former broadcast journalist and producer, storytelling always came naturally to me. As a child, I was an avid reader and, in college, I was even told I was a strong writer. I never saw myself solely as a ''writer' in the terms of one who carries around a notebook or lives in a library. Writing was a gift. A natural talent that I have continued to hone through the years.
After traveling the world, taking time out for a Master of Arts in Journalism, and spending over a decade and a half working in news, I decided to take a left turn on the path of life and go for a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
So, in addition to being an educator now, I read and I write. I also create factual documentary films from time to time. For a visual story is still a story.
